It is a privilege for me to step into the role of Acting Principal during this important time for our school. I have been at Camberwell High School for many years and whilst I appreciate, love and understand its very special and unique features, I respect and support its need to move forward in a dynamic and vibrant way. While the search for our new leader continues, my unwavering focus, and that of the school, will be on ensuring visibility of our core defining strengths, including our goals of achievement, creativity, respect and responsibility. We value excellence, participation and growth for all. This is supported by our exceptional wellbeing program and well-established routines around our behaviour and learning frameworks which ensure that every student is engaged, supported, and empowered to thrive.
The development of the whole person is critical. We are committed to fostering excellence, celebrating student success, and providing opportunities for those who demonstrate subject mastery to further advance their learning.
Throughout this transition, we place great importance on maintaining strong relationships with our students, parents, and the broader community. Guided by our values, we will continue to work in partnership with all families to nurture an environment where every learner feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
