Welcome to Camberwell High School.
As we celebrate 85 years of Camberwell High School, we do so with great respect for the legacy that has shaped our community and a commitment to the future of every young person in our care.
Camberwell High School has long been known for its strong values of achievement, creativity, respect and response and a genuine sense of community. As a government school, we believe in the power of public education and the opportunities it creates each student to learn, grow and thrive.
When I commenced as Principal, my goal was to build on the school’s strengths while ensuring every student was supported with a holistic, inclusive and individualised teaching, learning and wellbeing opportunities that surrounds their chosen pathways.
Our 2025–2029 School Strategic Plan reflects this direction. It strengthens our focus on high-quality teaching, student wellbeing, learning growth, strong pathways, and meaningful partnerships with families and carers. Most importantly, it reflects our commitment to ensuring each student is known, challenged, supported and encouraged to achieve their personal best.
What continues to stand out to me about Camberwell High School is the people. Our students are thoughtful, capable and full of potential.
Our staff are deeply committed to their work and to one another. Our families and wider community play an essential role in shaping a school culture that values both excellence and belonging. Together, we are building a learning community that honours tradition, embraces innovation and remains focused on the needs of our students.
It is a privilege to lead Camberwell High School at this important point in its history.
I hope you enjoy exploring our website and learning more about the community, people and purpose that shape Camberwell High School.
I look forward to sharing this year with you.
