Application Process

Applications for places in the International Student Program (ISP) at Camberwell High School are managed centrally through the International Education Division of the Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET). Details regarding the application process can be found at the IED website: www.study.vic.gov.au

Camberwell High School will accept fee paying students from Year 7 to 11.

Students under the age of 15 years old must live with parents or Department of Immigration (DIBP) approved relatives.

Twenty weeks attendance at an external recommended Language School is required for students under the age of 15.

For those over 15 years of age, attendance at Camberwell High School’s Language School is required prior to entry into Year 10 or 11 if the student is applying with English as an additional language.

Students will require strong results in English, their first language and Mathematics to be considered suitable for Camberwell High School’s program.

An informal internet interview will now be required prior to acceptance into Camberwell High School.
